File annual Notice of Intent
Each year, submit a Notice of Intent to the Delaware Department of Education before you begin homeschooling. This must be done every school year to remain in compliance.

Operate home school for at least 180 days
Your home school must be in session for a minimum of 180 days each year. Keep a calendar or attendance log to document that you have met this requirement.

Teach all required subjects
Your annual curriculum must include English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Health. Make sure each of these subjects is covered during your school year.
