Each year, submit your application for home study program approval through the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) before you begin homeschooling.

Provide instruction in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health, and Physical Education for at least 180 days each school year.
