Register with your local school superintendent
Each year, contact your local school district's superintendent office to register your intent to homeschool. This must be done annually to stay in compliance.

Verify teaching parent has a high school diploma or GED
The parent doing the teaching must hold a high school diploma or GED. Keep a copy of this credential on file in case it is ever requested.
